Parent Relation Officer

Sancta Maria International School is looking for a self-driven and competent person, with prior experience in customer engagement, to join our Accounts team. The main responsibility will be to engage with parents and help resolve fee related issues. Being proactive and having excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for parents on fee payment and related issues
  • Work out payment schedules and deadlines
  • Contact parents and update them through emails/telephonic calls of their fee payment status
  • Monitor fee payments and dues on a daily basis
  • Handle fee related queries
  • Investigate payment history
  • Understand payment related issues and resolve discrepancies, if any
  • Update payment status and database regularly
  • Prepare and present reports on progress
  • Initiate actions to encourage timely payments

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer engagement preferably in a sales / marketing role in the finance domain
  • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Apt in negotiating and persuading
