11-09-2025

Discover how Sancta Maria students can take university-level courses and earn credits through AP Exams - register now.

Sancta Maria International School is proud to be an authorised College Board test centre for the Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. For students, this means more choice, more challenge and more opportunity.

Advanced Placement (AP) gives motivated learners the chance to study university-level subjects while still in upper secondary. Students can earn college credit, skip introductory courses, and stand out in competitive university applications worldwide. Nearly all U.S. universities and more than 4,000 institutions in over 100 countries recognise AP when considering admissions.

Exams are held every May, with subjects ranging from sciences and mathematics to languages, history, and the arts. Registration is managed directly through our school, giving families a trusted and streamlined process.

As an official College Board centre, Sancta Maria offers students in Hyderabad and beyond the opportunity to access a global standard of academic rigour, close to home.

Why take AP?

AP
isn’t just about exams - it’s about possibilities. Students who take AP often find themselves:

  • Standing out in college admissions.

  • Skipping introductory university courses.

  • Saving money by earning credits early.

  • Building real college-level study skills.

  • Exploring passions in-depth while still in school.

  • Boosting their GPA and getting a taste of university life.

Research shows
:
AP students are more likely to enroll, stay and graduate on time compared to peers who don’t take AP courses.
