B. Arogya Reddy is a passionate educationist with over 40 years of educational experience, including building and nurturing educational institutions. A discerning individual who knew the intrinsic difference between mere teaching and quality education, founded Saint Mary’s Educational Society in 1982.

He is the recipient of several awards for excellence as an educationist such as The Best Teacher Award, Best Principal – Junior College Award and the Award for Outstanding Services, among others. A post-graduate in English from Osmania University, he has played several roles in the field of education – as a schoolteacher, as a lecturer and as a principal, before venturing to be an entrepreneur in the field by laying the foundation of Saint Mary’s Educational Society and the institutions under its auspices.

Mahender Reddy spearheads the Saint Mary’s Educational Society as its CEO, providing leadership and a progressive vision. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a post-graduate in Business Administration from The University of Hull, UK, Mahender Reddy has followed the footsteps of his father, B. Arogya Reddy, to make education his life’s calling.

He has worked relentlessly to help St. Mary’s College make its mark in the educational sector of the state of Telangana. Under his leadership, St. Mary’s College has become one of the most sought after elite colleges in Hyderabad and has produced outstanding alumni in the fields of education, sports, cinema, business and politics. True to his belief in prioritising academic excellence, he spends quality time nurturing students so that they are well-rounded and prepared to take on life and their respective careers after completing their education in all institutions under the auspices of Saint Mary’s Educational Society.

Mahender Reddy strongly believes that education only achieves its goal if, by the end of their academic journey, students are able to identify their life’s true calling and pursue it successfully. Mahender Reddy is a part of several think tank initiatives in the field of education. He was a member of the Advisory Committee on Skill Development under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.

Hema Sanjay is Principal of Sancta Maria.

With over 25 years of experience in leading multi-stream educational institutions across IB, CBSE and Cambridge curricula, Hema Sanjay is a distinguished education professional committed to shaping impactful learning experiences. Her expertise spans K-12 curriculum design, co-scholastic programme development, and the training of middle management leaders and teachers.

As a specialist in faculty development, Hema has played a pivotal role in enhancing teaching standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Her extensive involvement with the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN) as a consultant, workshop leader, and school visiting team leader for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) further underscores her dedication to global best practices in education.

At Sancta Maria, Hema leads with a vision of academic excellence and holistic development, ensuring that every student benefits from a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. Her leadership continues to inspire innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to educational excellence.

Ms. Vaishali Ramoju serves as Head of Academics at Sancta Maria International School, bringing 25 years of experience, including over a decade at the school. With a Bachelor of Engineering and the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning, she has a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics and has held key teaching and leadership roles in India and abroad. Her expertise spans CBSE, Karnataka Pre-University, American Common Core, and Cambridge curricula, driving academic excellence through student-centred learning and continuous improvement.

With over 25 years of experience across education and the corporate sector, she is a Cambridge-certified teacher specialising in Computing and Digital Literacy. She is committed to understanding each learner as an individual and supporting holistic development through life competencies, multilingualism, and inquiry-led learning. As Pastoral Head at Sancta Maria International School, she leads enrichment programmes, IAYP, and community service, while collaborating with Admissions and Marketing to strengthen family engagement. Her focus is nurturing confident, compassionate, future-ready learners.

Rini is an Early Years educator from Hyderabad with over a decade of teaching and leadership experience. She began her journey at Sancta Maria International School as a Cambridge Early Years teacher and now leads as Head of the Early Years Division. Passionate about children aged 2 to 6, she creates joyful, inclusive, and nurturing learning spaces with well-being at the core. She values strong family partnerships, embraces innovative early learning practices, and is committed to continuous growth, aspiring to become a Cambridge Early Years Trainer.

As Division Head of Primary, she brings over 14 years of teaching and leadership experience in Early Years and Primary education, with expertise in the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum. With a degree in Physiotherapy and certification as a Yoga facilitator, she integrates well-being and mindfulness into inclusive, inquiry-led classrooms that foster curiosity, independence, and learner ownership. Inspired by children’s creativity, she nurtures growth in every interaction. Passionate about wellness, running, yoga, meditation, travel, and food, she lives by lifelong learning.

Kalyani Bejjala serves as Head of Middle School, Designated Safeguarding Lead, and High School Mathematics Teacher, bringing 20 years of academic and leadership experience. She holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics, an M.Ed. with distinction, and an M.Tech in Computer Science, enriching her multidisciplinary approach. Teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level Mathematics, she emphasises conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and real-world application. Committed to safe, inclusive learning, she mentors students and teachers, and enjoys music, dance, and educational technology.​

Deepa serves as Head of High School at Sancta Maria International School and is a seasoned educator with extensive experience across diverse curricula and multiple stages of schooling. Her broad expertise enables her to understand students’ academic, emotional, and developmental needs, while supporting teachers through the realities of the classroom. She believes education must extend beyond academics, rooted in well-being and emotional intelligence. With a student-centred approach, she builds strong partnerships with staff and families, guiding learners towards higher education and global success.

Gopica is a High School Psychology facilitator and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Sancta Maria International School. She brings Psychology to life through engaging, learner-centred approaches that create a safe, inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported. As Safeguarding Lead, she is a strong advocate for student well-being, working closely with staff, learners, and families to ensure every young person feels protected and empowered. Her dual role reflects a holistic commitment to nurturing both intellectual curiosity and emotional resilience.​

Mr. Anjani Kumar is a seasoned operations leader with over 18 years of experience across hospitality, healthcare, and education. He brings strong expertise in building and scaling robust operational frameworks for large, multi-location organizations, including new facility setups and complex brand transitions. Known for his strategic mindset and execution-focused leadership, he has a proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing resources, strengthening governance, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while driving sustainable, high-quality outcomes through continuous improvement.

As Assistant General Manager – Finance, he brings over 15 years of expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), he upholds the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence. His strengths include budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance, ensuring transparent and efficient operations. Working closely with leadership teams, he optimises resources, drives cost-effective initiatives, and aligns financial planning with long-term institutional priorities to support sustainable growth and academic excellence.

Ms. Shilpa Sangam serves as Senior Manager – HR at Sancta Maria International School, with over a decade of dedicated service. An MBA in Human Resources, she has progressed within the institution from Executive Assistant to the Principal to Lead HR, and now oversees key strategic HR functions with a strong focus on talent development, employee engagement, and organisational growth. She believes a supportive, people-first HR culture is central to institutional success. Through empathetic, strategic leadership, she mentors teams, nurtures future leaders, and aligns HR initiatives with the school’s vision, fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace​.

With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, she serves as Senior Manager – Admissions at Sancta Maria International School, Hyderabad, supporting the school’s growth through strategic enrolment planning and efficient admissions leadership. She leads and mentors the admissions team, develops data-driven outreach strategies, and prepares insightful reports to guide decision-making. Blending strong leadership, analytical expertise, and a deep understanding of student and parent needs, she partners closely with families to deliver a seamless, transparent admissions journey aligned with the school’s value.
