B. Arogya Reddy is a passionate educationist with over 40 years of educational experience, including building and nurturing educational institutions. A discerning individual who knew the intrinsic difference between mere teaching and quality education, founded Saint Mary’s Educational Society in 1982.

He is the recipient of several awards for excellence as an educationist such as The Best Teacher Award, Best Principal – Junior College Award and the Award for Outstanding Services, among others. A post-graduate in English from Osmania University, he has played several roles in the field of education – as a schoolteacher, as a lecturer and as a principal, before venturing to be an entrepreneur in the field by laying the foundation of Saint Mary’s Educational Society and the institutions under its auspices.

Mahender Reddy spearheads the Saint Mary’s Educational Society as its CEO, providing leadership and a progressive vision. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a post-graduate in Business Administration from The University of Hull, UK, Mahender Reddy has followed the footsteps of his father, B. Arogya Reddy, to make education his life’s calling.

He has worked relentlessly to help St. Mary’s College make its mark in the educational sector of the state of Telangana. Under his leadership, St. Mary’s College has become one of the most sought after elite colleges in Hyderabad and has produced outstanding alumni in the fields of education, sports, cinema, business and politics. True to his belief in prioritising academic excellence, he spends quality time nurturing students so that they are well-rounded and prepared to take on life and their respective careers after completing their education in all institutions under the auspices of Saint Mary’s Educational Society.

Mahender Reddy strongly believes that education only achieves its goal if, by the end of their academic journey, students are able to identify their life’s true calling and pursue it successfully. Mahender Reddy is a part of several think tank initiatives in the field of education. He was a member of the Advisory Committee on Skill Development under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.

Hema Sanjay is Principal of Sancta Maria.

With over 25 years of experience in leading multi-stream educational institutions across IB, CBSE and Cambridge curricula, Hema Sanjay is a distinguished education professional committed to shaping impactful learning experiences. Her expertise spans K-12 curriculum design, co-scholastic programme development, and the training of middle management leaders and teachers.

As a specialist in faculty development, Hema has played a pivotal role in enhancing teaching standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Her extensive involvement with the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN) as a consultant, workshop leader, and school visiting team leader for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) further underscores her dedication to global best practices in education.

Vaishali is the Head of High School at Sancta Maria.

With extensive experience in senior school education and curriculum development, she is committed to guiding students through the critical years of their academic journey, preparing them for university and beyond.

Vaishali is passionate about inquiry-based learning, leadership development, and fostering independent thinking. Mr. Anjani Kumar is our AGM – Operations. With a strong background in operations across healthcare and hospitality, Anjani brings extensive experience in managing large teams and driving operational excellence.

A results-driven leader, Anjani is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency, service quality and overall campus experience through strategic planning and seamless execution. His expertise spans change management, inventory management, procurement and quality control, ensuring that all aspects of school operations run smoothly.

Anjani strongly believes that a well-managed operational framework directly contributes to a better learning environment for students. By ensuring high standards in facilities, safety and services, he aims to create an atmosphere where students can thrive without disruptions. He is also committed to mentoring staff at every level, empowering them to grow into future leaders and enhancing service excellence across the institution.

Rini Jhonson is Head of Early Years at Sancta Maria.

With a deep passion for early childhood education, Rini Jhonson brings a wealth of experience in nurturing young learners and shaping strong foundational years. As the Head of Early Years at Sancta Maria, she is dedicated to creating a warm, engaging and developmentally enriching environment where children thrive.

Rini is a firm believer in experiential learning, play-based methodologies and holistic child development. She works closely with teachers and parents to foster curiosity, creativity and essential life skills in young learners. Her expertise in early years pedagogy, coupled with her commitment to innovation, ensures that every child receives a strong start to their educational journey.

Kalyani Bejjala is the Head of Middle School, Designated Safeguarding Lead, and High School Mathematics Teacher, bringing 20 years of academic and administrative expertise to her roles. She holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics, an M.Ed. with distinction and an M.Tech in Computer Science, combining deep subject knowledge with pedagogical insight. Kalyani teaches Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level Mathematics, where she emphasises conceptual understanding, critical thinking and real‑world applications.

She is dedicated to cultivating a safe, inclusive and intellectually challenging learning environment, encouraging students to explore ideas and overcome anxieties about mathematics and grow into confident problem‑solvers. Her greatest reward comes from witnessing students transform their mindset and succeed. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Ms. Kalyani upholds the motto - “Safe, Supported and Empowered.” She is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of every member of the school community. Her responsibilities include staying current with safeguarding policies, conducting regular training for the whole school staff and addressing concerns promptly and effectively. Through her dedicated efforts, she nurtures a culture of vigilance, trust and care - ensuring that every student feels safe, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Krishna Mohan is the Cambridge Examinations Officer at Sancta Maria.

A meticulous and dedicated professional, Krishna Mohan serves as the Cambridge Examinations Officer at Sancta Maria, ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of all Cambridge assessments. With a deep understanding of examination regulations, academic integrity and assessment protocols, he plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards in the school's examination processes.

Krishna is committed to precision, organisation and student success, working closely with teachers, students and the Cambridge board to facilitate a seamless examination experience.
