Dear Parents,

The best improvements begin when we listen.

Your questions, ideas and honest feedback help us understand the school experience from your perspective. They encourage us to reflect, strengthen what works and make thoughtful changes where they matter most.

This edition highlights how your feedback is informing our work across learning, student wellbeing, new opportunities and preparation for the future. From the classroom to the wider school community, we remain committed to listening, learning and taking meaningful action.

Thank you for being active partners in shaping the Sancta Maria experience.

Listening is where change begins.

Every child has different interests, aspirations and needs. Every family brings a valuable perspective. When these voices come together, they help us see where we can do better.
Here is how your feedback is shaping the Sancta Maria experience.

1. You Said You Wanted More Room to Grow. We Made It Happen.

OPPORTUNITY · ACHIEVEMENT · LEADERSHIP

Children thrive when they have the freedom to find their strengths, pursue their interests and challenge themselves.

  • New opportunities in Athletics, Yoga and Taekwondo, alongside expanded sports choices from Grade.
  • Exposure to external platforms and experiences through IIT Madras, HMUN and BITS Pilani events.
  • Academic Scholarships for students moving from Grade 10 to Grade 11, alongside an Academic Achievement Recognition Ceremony.
  • Stronger community service, structured leadership training and wider opportunities for student leadership.

THE DIFFERENCE: More ways to participate. More opportunities to lead. More reasons for students to believe in their potential.

2. You Said Every Child’s Learning Comes First. We Made It Our Commitment.

INSIDE THE CLASSROOM

We want every student to feel challenged, supported and understood.

  • Stronger lesson design, classroom differentiation and formative assessment to help teachers respond to individual learning needs.
  • Continued investment in Cambridge methodology, subject expertise and professional learning through the ISP network.
  • Thoughtful integration of educational technology and AI to support learning and encourage greater student ownership.

THE DIFFERENCE: Better learning is not just about what is taught. It is about how every child learns.

3. You Said You Wanted to Be More Involved. We Opened More Doors.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are creating more opportunities for parents to participate in their children's learning and connect with the people who support them every day.

  • Open Door Meetings, Coffee Mornings with the Senior Leadership Team, Synergy Meets and Learning Review Meetings.
  • Parent Champions, Learning Visits, assembly participation and community events.
  • Continued improvements to Microsoft Teams, the iSAMS portal and digital communication systems to support easier access to school information.

THE DIFFERENCE: Our commitment is to move beyond keeping parents informed and build a genuine partnership in every child's journey.

4. You Said the Little Things Matter. We Focused on the Details.

CARE BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

A child's school experience is shaped by the everyday moments that help them feel safe, cared for and ready to learn.

  • DINING: Greater menu variety, student feedback and parent involvement through the Food Committee are helping shape food choices.
  • TRANSPORT: Preventive maintenance, transport efficiency and stronger training for Assistant School Assistants remain key areas of focus.
  • HEALTH & SAFETY: Health and safety systems have been strengthened, and all actions arising from health and safety audits have been closed.

THE DIFFERENCE: Every detail matters when it contributes to a better day for every child.

5. You Said Every Child's Future Matters. We Started Preparing for What's Next.

FUTURE PATHWAYS

Education should prepare students for possibilities beyond school, not simply the next examination.

  • Through our Future Pathways programme, university guidance and international learning opportunities through the ISP network, we continue to help students make informed choices about their futures.
  • Our investment in teacher expertise and professional learning strengthens the guidance and learning experiences available to our students.

THE DIFFERENCE: Every learner should have the confidence, knowledge and support to make their next step count.

6. You Said the Conversation Matters. We Promise to Keep It Going.

We will keep asking the questions that matter most.

  • Are our students happy?
  • Are they learning?
  • Are they growing?
  • Are they safe?
  • Are they prepared for their future?

Your feedback will continue to help us reflect on these questions and strengthen the experiences we create for our students.

You Shared. We Listened. We Acted.

A suggestion can spark an idea. A conversation can change a perspective. A shared commitment can make a lasting difference.
Thank you for being part of the journey. Together, we continue building a school community where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
