A New Year Letter from the Principal | Our Shared Resolution for 2026

A New Year Letter from the Principal | Our Shared Resolution for 2026

Dear Students,
Greetings!

A new year is more than just a date on the calendar. It is a moment to pause, reflect, and step forward with purpose and clarity. As we step into 2026, I write to you not only as the Principal of the school, but as someone who truly believes that education is about preparing students for life, not just examinations.

As we close another exciting academic year at Manthan, we celebrate our students’ achievements, resilience, and growth. Academically, our students have performed exceptionally well in board exams, secured Cambridge Learner Awards once again, for the fourth consecutive year. In sports, school increased participation significantly, with two High School students representing us at the national level in Volleyball (U-17), while eight Middle School students will compete in SGFI Volleyball (U-14). Beyond academics and sports, students actively participate in cultural events like Rangmanthan, science festivals, and global ISP initiatives, reflecting our commitment to nurturing well-rounded learners. With the new Block 3, upgraded labs, modern learning spaces, library, students’ lounge, and sports facilities, we continue to provide a safe, engaging, and future-ready campus that prioritises student wellbeing and holistic development.

A new year brings hope and a chance to make resolutions. My wish for you this year is simple: grow not only in knowledge but also in values, courage, discipline, character, and respect for time.

Our Resolution Begins with Values
True learning goes beyond textbooks. It is about being honest when it’s hard, kind when it’s inconvenient, and responsible even when no one is watching. Your daily choices quietly shape your character, and those choices define the person you are becoming.

The Courage to Learn and Improve
Courage is often misunderstood. It is not about showing off or being the loudest in the room. True courage is asking questions, admitting you don’t know everything, and being willing to improve. Never hesitate to ask questions. Each question you ask helps you think deeper, understand better, and grow stronger.

Setting Priorities: Excellence Is a Series of Small Choices
Excellence is never accidental. It comes from focus, planning, and consistency. Big goals are important, but they are achieved through disciplined daily effort.

Discipline and a Sense of Pride
Discipline is not a punishment; it builds confidence and self-respect. Wearing your school uniform neatly and with pride shows that you belong to a community that values equality, dignity, and shared principles.

Punctuality: A Promise to Yourself
Being on time may seem small, but it is powerful. Arriving on time shows respect for your learning, your teachers, and yourself. Punctuality sets the tone for your day, promotes focus, and becomes a habit that shapes responsible individuals.

To Our Teachers
Your guidance and dedication inspire students every day. Through your care, commitment, and example, you shape not only academic success but also the attitudes and character of our students. Your work makes a lasting difference.

To Our Parents
Your encouragement, patience, and trust play a key role in your child’s growth. Every child is unique with their own pace and strengths. Your support strengthens the home-school partnership and nurtures lifelong learning.

Looking Ahead
The school is committed to providing great opportunities for our students in 2026. Set priorities, be a self-regulated learner, live life by design, give your very best each day, and stay positive. Take ownership of your learning, growth, and actions.

I look forward to a year filled with curiosity, discovery, laughter, and shared success.

Wishing you a very Happy 2026!
